Weather Apps have become more popular in recent times especially those following the minimalistic imagery. Sun is an iOS but up unlike the tradition route of App Store access but instead gone for the Web App. By this method you can add Sun to your iPhone, iPod & iPad, and add you must. You’re required to add Sun to your home screen in order for it to work fully.

Sun gives you a clean minimal image of City name, followed by weather symbol and temperature. A two finger punch apart gives you a 5 day forecast, a two finger tap at the bottom gives you settings menu.

This by no means a technological wonder is a simple look and leave app, nothing more. I love the colour ranges that appear across the multiple screens. The only issue I’m facing so far is inability for it to find my location which in essence defeats the object of it entirely. At present not certain if it’s an app or an iPad location issue. Either way I love the way this looks and recommend you give it try if nothing more than to advertise the fact that more apps should look this way!
